Our Story

Homestead Grooming started with a simple goal: create a grooming experience where every dog feels like family. After more than 17 years in the industry, owner Maranda Saunders opened her own salon to bring that vision to life in Sparks, NV.

We believe grooming is about more than a great haircut. It’s about patience, trust, and helping every dog feel safe and comfortable in our care.

Hi, I’m Maranda! Grooming is my passion, and I believe every dog deserves to feel comfortable, cared for, and beautiful. I take the time to understand each dog’s personality and comfort level, whether they’re here for a simple bath or a full grooming day.

I’ve had the joy of grooming dogs of every breed, size, and personality, and each one has taught me something new. I’m proud of the trust I’ve built with the families I work with, and I treat every pup that walks through my door like part of my own.
